Rendezvous with the Resplendent Quetzal & Mountain Trekking (or should I say Waterfall trekking) February 20-March 4th. 2025

It’s that time again, Holistic Journeys is opening registration for our 2025 Costa Rica Adventure, Rendezvous with the Resplendent Quetzal & Mountain Trekking (or should I say Waterfall trekking) February 20-March 4th. This is an incredible journey through 3 different Could forest reserves and a 1 high elevation Humid forest Eco-lodge in search of not just the elusive Quetzal and the many avifauna endemic to each site, but an opportunity to see wildlife, flora, spectacular vistas, waterfalls, hot springs and enjoy a day of Playa Play. Choose your adventure that day; explore Manuel Antonio National Park, go ocean kayaking, choose a mangrove boat tour and then we will all just relax on a private beach and take in the afternoon, palm trees swaying and ocean waves lapping at the shore. .

We will begin and end our adventure at The Adventure Inn, this whimsical Inn is just 15 minutes from SJO International airport and offers free shuttle, a delicious, bountiful breakfast, uniquely decorated rooms, a reading lounge, an exercise room, a pool and hot tub and great dining at the Moonglow restaurant. I begin and end most of my Costa Rica adventures here not just because of convenience but unending hospitality and service!

You can down load the Travel Registration form and submit it with your 50% non refundable deposit by August 8th, 2024. The remaining payment is due 90 days out. You can pay PayPal, Venmo, snail mail or wire transfer. Just contact Rebecca for more details, any and all questions you may have.

This tour will require you to really take inventory of your physical ability, while there is something for everyone and plenty of down time to take it all in, relax, enjoy, participant in Nature based yoga and meditation we will be hiking (5-10 km) daily at each accommodation and many of these venues are 7,000-8,000 feet and above. So please, access your fitness and skill! Holistic Journeys is noted for amazing eco-wellness adventures and our safety record is outstanding. Guides in Costa Rica are incredible, their safety standards, knowledge and personality are second to none! While I’m not getting any younger and elevation is a challenge to me, the cloud forests are one of my favorite ecozones in Costa Rica, there are beautiful vistas, incredible flora, fauna and of course our feathered friends and yes, the Resplendent Quetzal!
